Photography has been a creative outlet for Irina since high school, continuing through college and into her first career as a nurse. While earning her RN BSN degree, she pursued her passion for art and photography by taking classes at RISD. Her love for portrait photography began in 2010, and in 2015, her journey into wedding photography started when a friend asked her to capture a small wedding. Irina quickly fell in love with wedding photography and realized this was the path she wanted to follow.
As a nurse at a local hospital, Irina continues to follow her passion—capturing precious moments and milestones in her clients’ lives. She feels truly blessed to be a wife to a wonderful partner, a mom to an amazing boy, and to her cherished fur babies.
When she's not behind the camera, Irina enjoys chasing her son and pup in the backyard, tending to her garden, traveling, and planning her next adventure.

What's it like to work with me?
ore than anything, I’m inspired by love, joy and intimacy - the kind of intimacy that’s all about holding each other close and creating love and joy in our hearts.
For me, being a photographer isn’t just about curating a collection of pretty photographs, it’s about creating an incredible experience for each and every person who steps in front of my camera. Every session is a guided experience, an opportunity for you to reconnect with each other, to spend time talking, hugging and laughing and being a little silly and playful with each other. By creating space for you to slow down and just be present with each other, you get to walk away from your session feeling closer with your loved ones, and with a collection of photos that capture what you love feels like, not just what you look like.
This means there’s no boring posing, no using the word ‘cheese’, no standing still and awkwardly smiling at the camera.
We’ll constantly be moving and chatting, having fun and hanging out just like friends. As we go I’ll be giving you heaps of direction and looking out for those little moments - I like to call them the 'blink-and-you’ll-miss them' moments, and capturing them for you is my specialty.
Here's what I promise to do:
Never tell you to just "be yourself" - because it's 100% possible to feel like yourself, and still freeze up in front of the camera.
Everything I can to make you feel relaxed & comfortable, because the more fun you are having the more natural your images will be. This means I will laugh with you at the awkwardness of the whole situation, pull funny faces, crack terrible dad jokes, and chat with you (because I want to know all about you too).
Give you lots of tips about how to stand in a flattering way for YOUR body type, where to put your hands (and what to do with them).
Show you photos as we go, so I can get your feedback and hopefully give your confidence a boost when you see how awesome they are!

Michael and I got married in the small coastal town Bristol, RI of 2007. We have one beautiful boy, Jacob and 2 fur babies, Piper and Lexi. When we're not working, we spend our days chasing our pup, playing soccer, piano practices, exploring new places and many other fun things and we wouldn't have it any other way!
travel and adventure
I love to travel, to wander, to experience new places, people, and cultures. Discovering a quaint village, sipping an espresso, and taking in breathtaking mountaintop views fill my heart.
We've been to some most beautiful places in US, as well as Europe and even East Asia. My bucket list is constantly growing and two places I want to go to next are Antelope Canyon, AZ and Banff National Park in Canadian Rockies!

My family and I are so fortunate to live near the coast. I've been fascinated with lighthouses and all things coastal since I can remember. Today lighthouses are more a piece of history than a part of the present but they still continue to represent various concepts and values such as strength, safety, hope, navigation, and guiding light. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to visit and photograph 6 lighthouses on East Coast.

I believe gardening soothes your soul! I don’t just love spending time in my garden, I really enjoy getting my hands dirty: planting seeds and bulbs, weeding, digging up plants and pruning. I find the process of sticking my hands into the soil or pinching out early buds to be calming and almost meditative. There are no distractions from social media, emails or other technology. It’s just me, the plants, the wildlife that occasionally passing by and sound of birds chirping.
