Mini sessions are one of our most popular options, offered certain days and times a year!
An affordable way to update those family photos!
• 20 minutes of photography
• Authentic family interactions captured through my lens, reflecting the genuine love that makes your family unique.
• Sessions can be couples, families, individuals, high school seniors, maternity, puppies, or any other fun combo you can think of!
• Maximum of 5 people per session
(larger groups must book two consecutive sessions)
• 15+ High Resolution images delivered via digital download with print release and option to purchase more
• $100 retainer is due at the time of booking to secure your date & time
• Remaining balance is due on the date of the shoot
• Images will be delivered within one-two weeks from your session date
• Returning clients who book two or more sessions within the same year receive a 10% discount on their next session.
Mini sessions are a shorter version of my Full Session Collection! These sessions happen 4-6 times a year on a specific day at a specific location. These session are 20 minutes long and include 15+ hand edited photos with the option to purchase more. There is a limited amount of spots per Mini session date, usually 6-8. I share all the upcoming Mini Session details with my newsletter friends first, before I share on the good ole gram!

- Wicked Tulips entry tickets for two adults and two children (ages 5-17). Each Adult ticket includes 10 U-pick tulips. Additional Tickets must be added at booking, photographer must purchase tickets for everyone in your session.

Please note: Strict no refund policy. Once I buy farm tickets and pay photographer's permission fee, farm doesn't refund me back! What is more festive than holiday photos? You can almost feel children's excitement in the photos. And mini sessions are a great way to get beautiful photos for holiday cards (or holiday gifts) without the financial or time commitment of a full session. This year, mini sessions will be offered at the studio and the local Christmas tree farm.

Q: WHAT IS A MINI SESSION?
A: A Mini Session is a condensed version of the Irina's Creative Vision Photography full portrait sessions. Mini Sessions are perfect for families who want an updated family portrait for the holiday card or a yearly photo of their kiddos, but don't need a full family session. Each Mini Session is 20-25 minutes long, and includes 15 digital hi-resolution hand edited images with print release.
Q: I CAN'T MAKE THAT DATE WORK, COULD I JUST CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DAY?
A: Unfortunately no. Our mini's are held on specific dates/times so we can offer a discounted price because we're able to book several sessions back to back versus booking an individual session that lasts longer.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON MY SESSION DAY?
A: I will have rain dates scheduled for each mini session and will notify you 24 hours in advance if the weather is looking like it won't cooperate. If you are unable to attend the rain date your payment will go toward a credit for a future session.
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WE INCLUDE IN OUR MINI SESSION?
A: Due to the limited amount of time in a Mini Session, I can only accommodate up to five people for each 20 minute time slot.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO WORKING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AT A MINI SESSION?
A: Kids can be unpredictable at times, so I find it best to stay flexible and follow the kids’ needs. If they need to run around, I’ll let them run and be silly before being still to capture the shots we need. If they don’t want to stand but will be held, we’ll do that instead. I tend to read each child for cues to capture the best photos we can! Don't scold your children or put too much pressure on them during your mini session, this will change the mood. We want the mood to be lighthearted and FUN in order to capture truly beautiful family moments!
Know that I will go with the flow and let your kiddos take the lead sometimes. Lifestyle family mini sessions are not about perfectly posed portraits, they are a combination of candid playful moments and "smiling at the camera" portraits!
Q: WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T COOPERATE?
A: I'm all for capturing the littles for who they are, but if your kiddo is the type who needs some time to warm up or settle down before wanting to hop in front of the camera, a full family session might be a better fit to allow for ample time to get comfortable before they are ready to have their picture taken.
Q: WHAT IF WE ARE LATE FOR OUR MINI SESSION?
A: Life happens, I totally get it! Unfortunately due to the nature of mini sessions and other clients scheduled back to back, there is not a lot of wiggle room to accommodate late arrivals. I will do my best to get some shots with the time remaining in your session, but no refunds will be given for late arrivals. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than your scheduled session time to get settled and ready to go for your session.
Q: WHEN DOES YOUR FALL AND CHRISTMAS TREE MINI SESSION CALENDAR OPEN FOR BOOKING?
A: Booking for fall and Christmas minis opens end of July every year to those on my email list. Prime dates sell out fast!
Q: WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
A: Rest assured your images will be delivered in time for holiday cards! I usually say 2-3 weeks.
